@sottovoceinora Yeah, you gotta replay that bad boy until it hits the spot! Sometimes though you overplay it and must retire that song and find another that makes you feel a particular way. Mostly I look for songs that make me feel like 👇
@allrockmusic The Flame - reminds me of someone who was once very special to me. We saw Cheap Trick when they were opening for Billy Idol. Time moves us all along.
@sottovoceinora Yes! 😂😂😂 that mofo was swallowing whole ships and planes and the adults weren't doing shit about it!! Like, don't go there for a start.
Remember when we were kids and we thought quicksand would probably be a problem in life at some point? We even made mental notes not to struggle if we stepped in some. I'd like to add: piranha attacks. Neither has occurred. I however, remain vigilant around sand and waterways.
@1baptistpastor I also thought this. I imagined he had wee colourful shopping bags and probably met with friends in town for a coffee after doing his shopping at the market. The abject horror when I realised I was very very wrong! 😆
Noriaki Suzuki’s Toki no Tabibito (“Time Traveler”) is one of those sculptures that looks different the longer you stare at it. Two human figures seem to be breaking apart into horizontal lines, as if their bodies are being pulled through time. Placed near the historic meeting point of the Tokaido and Nakasendo routes, the idea feels especially fitting.
I like that it doesn’t literally show time—it makes you imagine what time might look like if a human body could pass through it.
Let me tell you 👀 as a deconstructed Roman Catholic, I was activated like a freaking sleeper cell when the prosecution floated the idea Father Bob could be called as a witness in the #LindsayClancy trial. I object!!!
