One thing that is happening very brutally to witnesses at the Commission is that, when you take the stand, the Commission often knows more about you than you know about yourself. The Commission's evidence leaders, investigators, and legal team have listened to countless recordings and gone through WhatsApp chats in which your name has been mentioned. In many cases, you don't even know some of the people who were talking about you, yet they know who you are. Even if they never dealt with you directly, they know your role, your actions, and how you ended up in that witness stand.
Imagine trying to act tough or mislead them while, from their perspective, they already have a detailed picture of who you are and what you've been involved in. Yet they still conduct themselves with professionalism and respect. That alone deserves recognition.
People like Adv. Johnson should understand that. The Commission has even examined WhatsApp chats involving General Khan, who appears to been the real handler so far . They know far more than many witnesses realise.
