THIS its literally like every other game that locks cosmetics behind a deluxe or ultimate edition but rockstar have just framed it differently with actually adding actual stores for those items. its no different then going into a menu or store in your phone to access those items

GTA 6 will feature auto shops, clothing stores, tattoo shops, barbers, gang compounds and more WITHOUT the Ultimate Edition.

Seems like there's a misunderstanding going on that you cannot actually use any of these features without paying $100, this is false.

Ultimate Edition simply features extra shops that sell exclusive items, entirely separate from the presumeably hundreds of items available in the base game.

When GTA 5 came out in 2013, it cost $60

Inflation adjusted, that’s $86.31 in 2026

So in actuality, GTA 6 is cheaper than GTA 5
