fkn 40 year old grown ass man, spent 20 years of his life yelling like a malfunctioning car alarm and screaming ‘I’ll kill everyone’ (who exactly??? Bitch doesn'teven carry his own gun on him). Meanwhile the WOMEN in his life are the ones actually protecting him, carrying everything on their backs, because they know he’s out here having rage fits with the emotional maturity of a 7-year-old 😭
And yeah that’s exactly the kind of toxic, brutal people I hate. The ones who, the second they’re hurt, make it their mission to tear you down just as deeply. They don’t pause, they don’t think, they just go straight for the wound and press harder, they aim to cut your head off and that kind of “love” is dangerous, it’s genuinely damaging. I never thought Adil was a bad brother just because of what he said, but it does make him ruthless, and cruel in an kind of evil way. Because people like that drain you, they hit you when you’re already weak, and their feelings always come first, there’s no space for yours. With Fadime, it’s not like she hurt him on purpose, yes, the situation hurt him, he felt betrayed and hurt, but he knows why she did it, he probably even heard it from her. And still, he can’t see past his own pain, his emotions take over everything, and once he’s there, his instinct isn’t to communicate or calm down it’s to lash out and hit where you won’t recover.
There are people who argue and hurt you without meaning to go that far, and then there are people like this, who don’t just fight, they cut. And the worst part is, they’re often the same ones who are loving, soft, and caring when they’re okay… but the moment they’re hurt, they turn that same closeness into a weapon. They know your insecurities, vulnerabilities and your weak spots, the places you won’t be able to get back up from, and they hit you there on purpose.
And that’s why it’s so damaging, because it leaves you feeling stripped, worthless, and lost. It makes you question everything. To me, that’s not selfless love, that’s someone who values the release of their own anger more than protecting the person they claim to love so much. Someone who loved you purely would never put their own release of anger over your emotions. People like Adil they’d rather burn you down just to feel something than hold back and choose not to hurt you. And that’s what makes it so brutal.
Exactly, that’s what I mean by cruel. You don’t look at a girl who’s been orphaned since she was 5 and say “başın sağolsun.” that’s not just a sentence, that’s a weapon. It drags her straight back to the moment everything was taken from her, like you’re forcing her to relive that loss all over again, all alone. Because it’s not just words, you’re stripping her. taking away the only thing tying her to her parents, her name, her identity, her bloodline… the last pieces she’s been holding onto since she was a child. This is the same girl who had that reaction just from her braid being cut, because her hair was one of the only things she connected to her mother, she carried her family with her in those beads, in her braids, since she was little. If a part of that identity being violated broke her like that, what do you think it does when her own brother, the one she sees as her “mountain,” her safest place, turns around and erases her entirely?
And worse, not only does he take her away from her own name, he pushes her into the identity of the very people who destroyed her life. Ties her to the name of her family’s killers, the ones responsible for her pain, for that violation of her identity, the ones her entire trauma is built around. That’s not just anger, that’s annihilation. And the choice of words is what makes it even more merciless. “condolences.” a word only used when you lose someone you love. He knows she lived that at 5,all alone, he knows that’s her deepest wound, her biggest trigger, losing the people she loves. We literally saw her panic last episode in front of Iso, repeating over and over “no jail, no dying for you and my brother,” almost like a chant, because her entire trauma still revolves around that fear of loss.
So for him to slap her with “my condolences” like that? To erase her name and identity and put her in the same level of her family killers? Baby sellers? Her biggest trauma? That’s not just harsh, that’s deliberate and it's calculated. It's cruelty in its rawest form.
Esme was harsh, yeah, but Fadime’s was just brutal on a different level. He didn’t just say “you’re not my sister anymore,” he went after her entire bloodline, reduced everything that family put her through, and then turned around and labelled her as one of them. And that’s what makes it so insane, especially after she literally told Zarife last episode that she hates all the Furtunas. It’s not even about her “hiding the truth” it’s about why she did it. She was trying to protect him. Him going to jail is one of her chikdhoid traumas. She grew up alone, he was 20 when he lost his parents, she was 5. Five. And then he was sent to prison, so she had no one. A child, alone, being fed soup by the enemy and couodnt even reach the glasses to even drink water. She didn’t even have the luxury of choice. All of that, every piece of her trauma and pain ties back to the Furtunas.
So for him to look at her and basically erase all of that, to strip her of her pain and shove her into the very identity she’s been fighting against her whole life, just because she didn’t want to lose him? That’s not just him being hurt, that’s cruel. He could’ve lashed out, said anything, even said "you don't have a brother anymore", but to uproot her from her own story and identity and reduce her to the family responsible for her trauma is genuinely insane.
Adil is on my hitlist for this one, I’m not even joking.
i see people hate to see parallels on esdil and isfad bcuz“its their storyline and they are the main” but what i see is two ships one who has been in love for 20 years the other is scared to fall in love bcuz of the past of 20 years<3
we had a lot to say about adil’s “adalet” but it’s so moving that he didn’t bat an eye when it was iso who needed to be avenged, sacrificing the peace within koçari in the name of justice as he knows it. for his brother. the only person in that room who gave iso what he wanted.
