Something for the week:

Reaching a goal does not guarantee that the outcome will look exactly as we imagined. Two people may pursue the same goal and arrive at very different results because they began from different places, faced different obstacles, and followed different paths.

An outcome is not a final verdict on our ability or worth. It is feedback. It shows us what worked, what did not, and where we can improve next. When reality falls short of our expectations, disappointment is natural, but allowing one result to define the entire journey only prevents us from learning from it.
