Vredefort police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 35-year-old Teboho Senyane, who has been missing since Thursday, 9 July 2026.

According to police, Teboho travelled to Kroonstad to fetch his child, where an argument allegedly occurred with the child’s mother. He later returned home, told his parents about the incident, and left the house at about 12:30 in an angry state. He has not been seen since.

He was last seen wearing peach-coloured trousers and a black jersey.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Vincent Ntantiso on 064 855 8688 or 056 216 5702, call Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or submit an anonymous tip via the MySAPS App.

During this week, 8-year-old Daniel Jamneck’s rapist and murderer was found guilty. Arthur Wheeler was also found guilty of rape for the 2005 case.
His sentencing hearing will be on 21 July 2026.

IMO a system’s failure was fatal to a child. If the perpetrator was imprisoned when he failed to comply with his rehabilitation programme after his first rape, Daniel may have still been alive today.

To the woman who warned that her rapist will hurt someone again and spent 21 years building her life around the trauma, and to Daniel Jamneck’s family, friends, and everyone who loved that little boy, may justice bring at least some measure of peace after unimaginable pain.
