Today I want to share a few spiritual and traditional truths. Some people will agree, some will not.
.) Be very careful who you leave groove with. Not every beautiful face carries a clean spirit. Some people carry spiritual baggage, dark attachments and energies they do not even know they have. There are spirits that move through people and destroy relationships, finances, health and destiny. A single night can create spiritual battles that take years to remove. Protect your body because spiritually your body is a sacred vessel.
.) I have to write this again. If you were married and have separated, please do not ignore the spiritual side of the separation. Traditional marriages involve families, ancestors and spiritual agreements. If those ties are not properly closed, you may experience delays, confusion, relationship problems and unnecessary spiritual connections. A spiritual divorce is just as important as the marriage process itself.
.) Ancestors are loving, but they are also disciplinarians. When they continuously call and you ignore them, life can become difficult. Doors may close, finances may become unstable, and unexplained blockages may appear. Sometimes what people call bad luck is simply a spiritual matter that requires attention.
.) There are people who dream on your behalf. Ancestors communicate in many ways. If you are spiritually blocked, stressed or disconnected, they may use another person to deliver a message. Never dismiss every dream, vision or warning that comes through someone you trust.
.) Watch your behaviour. Spiritually, the tongue is powerful. Many people curse themselves without realizing it. Speaking failure, poverty, sickness and misfortune over your own life can become a spiritual invitation. Be mindful of your words because your spirit is always listening.
.) Please be careful of eating and drinking everywhere. In African traditions, food carries more than just nourishment. Not every table is meant for you. Not every invitation is genuine. Learn to pray over what you consume and be mindful of where you receive food and drink.
.) Be careful of carrying anger, bitterness, jealousy and emotional heaviness. These emotions create a heavy aura around you. You can walk into an interview, a business meeting or an important opportunity carrying a cloud of negativity. A heavy spirit attracts heavy experiences. Cleanse yourself spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
.) When speaking to your ancestors, remember that the most important offering is not snuff, candles or expensive rituals. It is your heart. There are people who cannot afford traditional items but still communicate sincerely with their ancestors. Respect, honesty and faith are worth more than anything money can buy.
.) Watch the people you date. Not every relationship is a blessing. Some people enter your life carrying chaos, spiritual debts and misfortune. You will find yourself constantly tired, losing opportunities, struggling financially and feeling disconnected from your purpose. Pay attention to what happens in your life after certain people enter it.
.) Not everyone is called to consult with a Sangoma. Some people are guided through prophets, mediums, dreams or direct ancestral communication. Stop forcing yourself into a spiritual path that does not belong to you. Your ancestors know exactly how to reach you and who they want to use as a messenger.
.) Stop allowing everyone into your home. Your home is a sacred space. Some people arrive smiling but leave spiritual dirt behind. Not everyone who enters your house celebrates your success. Protect your household, your children, your peace and your ancestral altar.
.) Learn to pay attention to signs. Ancestors rarely shout. They whisper through dreams, repeated messages, strange coincidences and feelings you cannot explain. What appears small today may become a major lesson tomorrow if ignored.
