@Sparkle31888597 Not gone, just a temporary aberration, fueled by external enemies determined to bring down Western democracy, using social media to exploit existing & create new divisions & driving each side to extremes. Russia will lose that fight and eventually America will return to normal.
@Reuters This guy's erratic behavior is becoming a national security issue. The DoD should reconsider Spacex contracts such as the one this Jan. for $102 million unless he's removed from the board / management of the company: https://t.co/a0N9FS1anQ
@BusinessInsider This is an ill-conceived move and will do absolutely nothing to impact gas prices - which at this point is the largest single driver to inflation. Shutting down the economy is not a reasonable method of slowing inflation.
@thehill Musk's recent shift to Right is somewhat odd considering where he made his money. Without the EV tax credits and Space privatization actions of the Obama administration, neither Tesla nor SpaceX would exist today.
@FinanceLancelot@thehill Some us are old enough to remember 1981. That Recession (which lasted thru '82) occurred as a result of a 20% Prime rate that yes indeed - did lower inflation over a 2 year period. It was virtually impossible to finance anything for awhile.
@MSNBC@ZeeshanAleem We have an excellent opportunity now to address several issues present before Musk moved to buy Twitter; anti-trust in Big Tech and platform accountability. Removing the liability shield protecting Internet mega-business has been proposed by both parties and is long overdue.
@SohrabAhmari This is a naïve and hyperbolic view. Disinformation is and has always been a part of every active military conflict as well as all covert campaigns (worldwide) for over 100 years. A recent example is the Russian denials that they were going to invade just before invading Ukraine.
@timesofindia@davidfrum Something to keep in mind, the value of bilateral trade between India and the US is $150 billion, but it's only $9 billion with Russia. India's current strategy is high risk & the US now also has to worry about the software supply chain as a result of Russia's influence there.
@RBReich 2 years ago, President Trump threatened to veto spending bills if section 230 repeal was not included. There is a potential for bi-partisan support on reining in big tech. The premise for the liability shield has long ago expired as the Internet is no longer a fledgling industry.
