@12000ak@1984_nate Are you sure their argument is about not having a mind. They do separate "Moral inability" from "Mechanical ability". I think if you disagree with an idea. Still try not to misrepresent the idea.
@rootcausesleuth@allgodschillens@_jonbowlin Saving faith or working faith. James would say faith without work is dead i.e the faith produces good works. Which I why I said the "Just shall live by faith" contrast to we 'justified by faith. Scriptures uses "faith" as something we walk in, just as necessity for justification
@rootcausesleuth@allgodschillens@_jonbowlin First, would be how unbelievers can know truth but because they lack saving or working faith would not come to the knowledge of truth or reject truth like the Greek, it seems as foolishness to them. Secondly would be the just living by the same faith i.e salvation generated faith
@Benjamin_01X@1984_nate Because the attributes of God can be seen in creation itself and the rejection of this made them given to a reprobate mind. Which is why chapter 2 can speak about gentiles having conscience and can fulfill the demands of the law
@Benjamin_01X@1984_nate Some scriptures on general revelation "Romans 1 : 19-20,2: 14 -15, Acts 14: 16-17 and Psalms 19: 1-4". Here in Romans 1 from verse 18 Paul would be focusing on gentiles who have rejected God like let say atheist for example and he is speaking about how they are without excuse...
@rootcausesleuth@allgodschillens@_jonbowlin Scriptures on general revelation include; Romans 1: 19- 20, Romans 2: 14 - 15(,It's the reason why atheist are without excuse and the people who didn't have the law) Psalms 19: 1 -4, Acts 14: 16 -17.
While on Special revelation
Hebrews 1: 1-3, 2 Tim 3: 16-17, Romans 10: 14 - 17.
@Benjamin_01X@1984_nate Though, what was being addressed there was general revelation, which is why it says "the visible things points to the attributes of God". It is not a salvivic or special revelation which implies the agency of the holy Spirit
@jay_mikee Regardless of what you think about this reaction
I implore you to watch the video the minor prophets put together on the issues with TPT which is the main concern. It’s not just ‘one error’ but a track record of deception in relation to God’s sacred word

We live in a world where everyone is trying to achieve one grand goal or the other. Often times, it is a goal that brings a glory that doesn't stand the test of eternity-a glory that fades.
Evidently, the veneration of Moloch is well and truly alive in this country.
The irony of abortion is that you have to not have been aborted in order to contemplate aborting a child.
"My body, my choice" = rebellion!
@busyminds_ Finally, a Christological perspective.
We just need to ask, "when did the human nature inseparably unite with the divine nature?"
Simple answer--Conception. Not birth. Conception. (Luke 1:31,35, Isaiah 7:14)
Not exactly the same issue, but I wrote an article when someone spoke about the “discomfort” of sharing public transport seats with plus sized people. It’s the same root.
