Big institutions will just pick the most efficient jurisdiction. Bad regs won't kill tokenization β they'll just hand US leadership away on a silver platter. #RWA#Tokenization#CryptoRegulation
@brian_armstrong just pulled support from the Senate Banking draft bill:
"We'd rather have no bill than a bad bill"
Tokenized stocks/RWAs are exploding globallyβSecuritize announced the market crossed $21B! If the US tightens regs too much, other countries are ready to take over:
After reviewing the Senate Banking draft text over the last 48hrs, Coinbase unfortunately canβt support the bill as written.
There are too many issues, including:
- A defacto ban on tokenized equities
- DeFi prohibitions, giving the government unlimited access to your financial records and removing your right to privacy
- Erosion of the CFTCβs authority, stifling innovation and making it subservient to the SEC
- Draft amendments that would kill rewards on stablecoins, allowing banks to ban their competition
We appreciate all the hard work by members of the Senate to reach a bi-partisan outcome, but this version would be materially worse than the current status quo. Weβd rather have no bill than a bad bill. Hopefully we can all get to a better draft.
We'll keep fighting for all Americans and for economic freedom. Crypto needs to be treated on a level playing field with the rest of financial services so we can build this industry in a safe and trusted way in America.

@pzzzzzzt@heri85407 @skyholicc88 Harusnya si, setiap user yang mau join, pasti yang punya grup udah kasih disclaimer, kalo keputusan investasi tetap ditangan user. Tapi liat aja gimana kelanjutannya
@cz_binance Interesting! But super cycle for what? BTC & big institutions? Data early 2026: BTC.D hovering 58.5-59%, ETF inflows cumulative ~$60B (AUM $120B), altcoins cap excl BTC ETH ~$940B.Liquidity still trapped in BTC, altcoins starving π» Super cycle for whales only? Or BNB with Alpha?
@WatcherGuru "Tokenized stocks = game-changer! But wait... even BTC ETFs tokenized onchain via Ondo/BlackRock? π So we're tokenizing BTC ETFs to trade onchain... when we could just buy BTC direct and chill in wallet? Extra steps for the vibes? π€¨
Superior tech. Jumbo funding. Zero usersβuntouchable, just digital graveyard.
The Zombie Chain Era: why this keeps happening.

Zeta launched Beta in Feb 2024. If Story is revolutionizing IP, why is no one paying to use it?π€·
Think about it:
A single monthly Netflix subscription ($15.49) > The total daily fees generated by these "Next-Gen" chains.
VCs sold you the vision. The data shows the reality.
Yesterday I said new chains are becoming zombies despite having superior tech.
How bad is it?
DefiLlama data (24h fees, Dec 17 2025):
π Story: $16
π ZetaChain: $11
π» Movement & Others: Negligible.
"But Zeta is in Beta! And Story is for IP!"
But the reality? RWAs deploy on Ethereum, Solana, established L2s like Arbitrum/Mantle.
New chains with supposedly superior tech end up becoming zombies.
Truly ironic.
RWA is getting positive momentum from regulators. Sentiment is strong, TradFi liquidity starting to flow in.
This should be a golden opportunity for new chains that claim to be "faster","modular","scalability"βTechnically, they should be the most adaptive for use cases like this.
Looks like the SEC is pivoting to CTβthey're teaching retail about self custody.
They even explained private keys, seed phrases, cold wallets..
Maybe they're tired of being the regulated custody institution.π
