This is Gawuna, the NDC Kano North senatorial candidate. Atiku offered him the governorship ticket for free, along with campaign funds and the ADC Kano structure, but he rejected it to support Obi/Kwankwaso.
I wholeheartedly condemn the unlawful arrest, humiliation, and detention of these citizens for freely expressing their political opposition to the failed Tinubu regime in Borno State.
I learnt that this cowardly act was engineered by the @OfficialAPCNg Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Zulum @ProfZulum , with the aid of the Nigerian Police. These citizens were subsequently secretly arraigned before a magistrate and remanded in prison.
Those unjustly detained are:
Ba’ana Grema
Mustapha Abba
Abacha Muhammed Ali
Adam Umar Gubio
Abdulhamid Mohammed
The charges against them must be dropped immediately, and all five citizens must be released from this unjust detention.
Political opposition is not a crime. Peaceful expression is not a crime. Nigerians must never be imprisoned simply for opposing those in power.

Yes, today in New York, I joined the Free Palestine protest. No justice, no peace! #FreePalestine!
I condemn the genocide being committed by the state of Israel in Gaza.
I joined to make it clear that Nigerians

🚨🇫🇷 BREAKING — President Macron:
“Sovereignty for Lebanon.
Sovereignty for Palestine.
It Is Shameful. Shame on All of Us.
We Recognize Palestine (some very cynically) — Yet It Has No Sovereignty — There is No Peace.”
The Palestinian Delegation Broke Out in Applause.
“We will do whatever it takes to bring fuel prices down in Nigeria and tackle insecurity.”
