This week, @SenCappelletti was joined by @LGAustinDavis and others in Montgomery County to highlight how the recently passed #PAbudget will make communities safer.
The budget invests in state police, afterschool programs, violence prevention initiatives & community programs.
We join @SenCappelletti outside the PA Capitol for the introduction of her legislation would require proper labeling of food and medicine that contains gluten.
This legislation comes after her resolution recognizing May as Celiac Awareness Month.
Our colleague @EthanSCorey provided key testimony before a Pennsylvania state Senate committee today about the lack of reliable information regarding deaths in custody. Pennsylvania has one of the highest rates of deaths in custody among US states.

This resolution, Schwank says there used to be a time when elected officials came together to solve problems. This resolution doesn't help further that, and is "more about providing mailers and social medias graphics" for the 2024 election than solving any problem.
