Proudly serving Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, & Winchester in the MA Senate
Thanks to @MikeConnollyMA for checking on flooding at Draw 7 Park during the high tide storm surge. That's why the Mystic River Caucus advocated for the $28 million in ARPA funding that will be used for flood control and resiliency https://t.co/HOC6LPztkn.
Was up by Assembly Row earlier today witnessing the impacts of climate change. The Draw Seven Park Path Extension to Rt. 99 in Charlestown was completely washed out! Thankfully, our legislative delegation is working with @MassDCR and @MysticMyRWA to make this area more resilient.
There is much work yet to be done, but I pause to thank @MASS_ALA for the honor of receiving their Policymaker of the Year award. We work together to make assisted living more available, more affordable, and with more services that strengthen its role along the continuum of care.
Do you know someone looking for answers for someone with dementia? Programs in our district like Cambridge-Somerville, Minuteman & Mystic Valley Elder Services can help. For questions, referrals, and advice, there's Alzheimer's Association's 24 hr hotline 800-272-3900
Thanks to my wonderful ward 7 colleagues Counselor @JudyForWard7, School Committee member Sara Dion, and @Barber4StateRep and the constituents who came to Saturday's office hours at Yego Coffee. Excellent conversations on many important topics!
SCF 2.0 is now open! You can apply for up to $2,000 in financial assistance for things like food, gas, childcare, & healthcare. Visit our website to learn more about the program and apply at https://t.co/2YOQleXvcd
AIM is proud to have been a driving force in wage transparency legislation, empowering MA businesses to attract top talent. Thanks to Senate President Karen Spilka, Senator Michael Rodrigues & Senator Pat Jehlen for their leadership in strengthening our Commonwealth. #PayEquity
