On Monday, I had the privilege of representing my boss, the Niger North Senator, and Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Distinguished Senator @Abusbello at an Iftar dinner hosted by the Indian High Commission to Nigeria, Ms. Vartika Rawat. The gathering reflected the strong diplomatic ties between Nigeria and India, built on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared values. On behalf of my boss, I extend his best wishes to the Indian High Commission and appreciation for their efforts in fostering deeper bilateral relations. Senator Abubakar Sani Bello Extends Warm Congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the Sighting of the Ramadan Crescent and the Commencement of Ramadan 2025

The Senator representing Niger North and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Distinguished Senator @Abusbello, has extended his warmest wishes to all Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the sighting of the Ramadan crescent and the commencement of Ramadan 2025.

In his message, Senator Sani Bello emphasized that this sacred period is a time for reflection, prayer, and acts of kindness. He encouraged everyone to embrace the values of compassion, unity, and generosity that Ramadan embodies.

Senator Sani Bello stated:

“As we embark on this blessed month of Ramadan, I urge all Muslims to use this time to strengthen their faith, seek forgiveness, and pray for peace and prosperity in our beloved nation, Nigeria. Let us remember the less fortunate among us and extend a helping hand to those in need. Ramadan is not only a time for spiritual renewal but also an opportunity to foster unity and understanding among all Nigerians, regardless of faith or ethnicity.”

Senator @Abusbello recently hosted a special empowerment event in Niger North Senatorial District, where he distributed various items to enhance security, party structure, and provide food aid to communities. The items included:

20 Cars: Distributed to vigilante groups across eight local governments and to local government chapters of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
40 Motorcycles: Given to vigilante groups, five each for the eight local governments
5 Trailers of Foodstuff: Containing rice grains, which were distributed to wards within the senatorial district, the State APC Chapter, and the Zonal APC Chapter

Each ward received 25 bags of grains, while the State APC Chapter received 30 bags and the Zonal APC Chapter received 25 bags. The vehicles were fitted with new tires and fueled to ensure immediate deployment. The event was attended by prominent stakeholders, including the Niger State APC Chairman, Hon. Aminu Musa Bobi, and the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji.

Niger North Senator and Chairman Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Distinguished Senator Abubakar Sani Bello has felicitated with the Farmer Governor of Niger State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, on the occasion of his 51st birthday, praised his unwavering commitment to the transformation of the state, particularly in the agricultural sector.

In his goodwill message, Senator Sani Bello described Farmer Governor Bago as a visionary leader whose passion for agricultural development has transformed Niger State, fostering economic growth and food security for Nigerian people. He acknowledged the Farmer Governor’s bold initiatives in large-scale farming which have created more jobs, empowered local farmers, and boosted economic growth.

“Farmer Governor Bago’s relentless drive to harness the vast agricultural potential of Niger State has been truly remarkable.
