Today, I enjoyed visiting Joseph Arthur Middle School within the Central School District 104 in O'Fallon. I was greeted by the student council who provided a warm welcome. We're fortunate to have these dedicated teachers and support staff serving families in the 56th District.
I toured Wielandโs brass mill in East Alton. This location has undergone a number of expansions and is also home to North Americaโs largest stamper, Wieland Fabricated Products. I appreciate the invitation but more importantly your commitment to workers in the 56th District!
Vocational education is critical for students wanting to explore a career in the trades, and I look forward to exploring ways to expand these programs.
