Yesterday, my House Democratic colleagues attempted to gauge the views of IN citizens on ballot measures by adding a simple question to our next ballot: "Shall Hoosiers be allowed to initiate a ballot referendum in Indiana?"
❌Republicans voted down the amendment.
I'm proud to announce that SB26 has passed its conference committee report! This bill takes important steps to prevent the unlawful use of radio frequency jamming devices, which can disrupt emergency communications. We’re prioritizing safety & security for all Hoosiers! #INForAll
I was proud to honor the late Dr. Brian Dillman and recognize his family with SR 49. A dedicated physician in emergency medicine, Dr. Dillman made an immeasurable impact on Indiana. His legacy of compassion and kindness will live on in the many lives he touched. #INForAll
I enjoyed sitting down with Lt. Gov. Beckwith on his podcast to talk about some of the important issues facing our state. From the challenges we’re tackling to the opportunities ahead, these conversations matter, and I’m grateful for the chance to share my perspective. #INForAll
In Local Government Committee, I’m focused on ensuring our policies work for the people they impact most: our communities. The decisions we make here shape the daily lives of Hoosiers, and I’ll keep advocating for smart, fair policies that strengthen our communities. #INForAll

Today in Judiciary Committee, we examined critical bills that impacts our legal system like SB327, which establishes small claims service fees and increases fund revenues in Marion County. I remain committed to advocating for a system that protects Hoosier communities. #INForAll
Had extensive discussions in Judiciary committee today about DEI & discrimination based on stereotypes of race, ethnicity and sex, which hurt our communities. I would love to know: what does diversity mean to you? #INForAll
Today we take time to commemorate Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
We use his dedication to peace, and liberty for all, as a guiding light in the continued fight for a world where, “justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.” #INForAll
I’m honored to be a part of the Judiciary committee. Today, we discussed key bills about parental rights and the possible restrictions of a minor’s access to social media. I’m ready to take on these topics for Hoosiers everywhere. Let’s get to it! #INForAll
Kicked off the 2025 session by serving on my first committee: Corrections & Criminal Law. Excited to tackle the tough conversations and fight for justice reforms that prioritize fairness and public safety for all Hoosiers. Let’s get to work! #INForAll
📣 Bold vision for 2025: We’re putting Hoosiers first!
Today, Indiana Senate Democrats unveiled our agenda, built on what YOU told us matters most: education, health care and housing.
Here’s how we’re delivering real solutions for families across Indiana. 🧵 #INForAll
💊 Health Care:
Address Indiana’s maternal health crisis with doula support & postpartum care.
End predatory medical debt practices.
Fully fund Medicaid to eliminate waitlists.
Health care is a right, not a privilege.
🎓 Education:
Pay teachers a fair $65K minimum salary.
Fully fund childcare programs to end harmful waitlists.
Invest $50M in counselors, social workers & career advisors.
Strong schools = strong futures for Hoosier kids.
Hoosiers deserve more than the bare minimum—they deserve bold solutions that work for everyone.
Our 2025 agenda is about building stronger families, brighter futures, and protecting freedoms for all. Let’s make this a year of progress. 💙 #INForAll
🏠 Housing:
Protect renters with stronger rights & timely repairs.
Stop unfair utility disconnections and eliminate punitive fees.
Safe and stable housing is a foundation for success.
Today is the first day of Session and I am looking forward to continuing to advocate for your priorities at the statehouse.
