Dear Ghanaians, Illiteracy is often misunderstood. To be illiterate doesn't mean someone is unintelligent or incapable; it simply means they have not had the opportunity to learn to read or write.
Intelligence comes in many forms. A farmer who cannot read might still understand the intricate rhythms of nature better than anyone else. A craftsman who cannot write might create masterpieces with precision and creativity unmatched by the literate.
