I’ve been digging into the AXIS V1 results, and the interesting part isn’t simply the 50K+ trajectories.

It’s whether that data actually makes the robot better.

On LIBERO-Plus, vanilla π₀.₅ achieved 83.9% overall success. After continual pretraining on the full @axisrobotics dataset, that went up to 88.8%.

That’s a 4.9 percentage-point improvement.

More importantly, performance kept improving as AXIS data scaled from 25% → 50% → 100%, with no clear saturation.

The robustness results are even more interesting.

AXIS-100% improved performance under sensor noise by 13.7 points and camera variation by 11.3 points versus vanilla π₀.₅.

So this isn’t just about collecting more trajectories.

The real value seems to be coverage and diversity - different tasks, scenes, camera views and perturbations that force the policy to learn something more general.

That’s a much more interesting data thesis for robotics.

The $AXIS Community Sale commitment window is officially open.

What caught my attention is that this isn’t just a simple fixed-price token sale. The round is $1M at $0.10 per $AXIS, with 10M AXIS available, equal to 1% of the total 1B supply.

The important part is the allocation mechanism.

If commitments stay below $1M, accepted commitments are filled in full. If the round is oversubscribed, allocations are reduced pro-rata and the unused USDC is automatically returned after settlement.

The unlock is also worth noting: 10% at TGE, followed by a 6-month cliff, then the remaining 90% vests linearly over the next 6 months.

Participation runs through Sonar, with KYC/KYB and wallet screening. The commitment range is $100–$100K per verified entity, and commitments can be increased but not reduced or cancelled.

And the bigger picture is still the interesting part to me.

@axisrobotics is building a data engine around verified robot-manipulation trajectories, where submitted work is checked, scored and recorded on-chain. That creates a feedback loop between contributors, data quality and physical AI training.

The community sale is one piece of that bigger infrastructure story.
