There's even been a paper exploring this very issue, and deaf colleagues, including @jahochcam, have led on complaints to journals about this in the past, and yet it's still a problem. Who is reviewing this material? Clearly no deaf academics! https://t.co/3hWJL7b5gw
Had a lovely message from a deaf person I’ve known for donkeys years who say an old #HandsOn programme from @MindtheGapFilms who spotted me & reminded me how youthful I once was 🤣🤣 .@tcdslscs@studies_centre@SenanDunne

Qualifications Wales suspended GCSE BSL indefinitely. Instead they've come up with a fraction of a qualification which can be taught in as little as 5 hours by an unqualified "BSL teacher". It is meaningless, insulting and a tokenistic exercise. Trick or treat.
