I am proud to support legislation expanding opportunities for MWBEs by improving the certification process. I also honored Army PFC Travis Krege, whose bravery and sacrifice will be recognized through the naming of the Cleveland Drive bridge in his honor

I am proud to have passed legislation making Buffalo’s Fruit Belt residential parking permit program permanent. It protects neighborhood parking access and helps ensure the people who call the Fruit Belt home can find a parking spot close to where they live.

As Wegmans expands into North Carolina, many New York communities still face barriers to fresh food access. The NYS Senate passed the F.R.E.S.H. Communities Act, and we secured $500,000 for a Buffalo pilot to support local grocers and strengthen neighborhood food access.

57 days past due, the state budget has finally passed with major investments to strengthen communities, ease rising costs, and address long-standing inequities. Despite the delay, I stayed committed to fighting for the 63rd District every step of the way.

I am honored to recognize Army Veteran Jerry C. Bowman for his Vietnam service with the 4th Psychological Warfare Battalion and 173rd Airborne Brigade. A decorated Sergeant and lifelong veterans advocate, congratulations on his induction into the NYS Veterans Hall of Fame.
