Hon Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga was a great leader, loved and hated in the same breadth. He shaped Kenyan political landscape, disrupting the status quo and reinvesting himself every time he lost. His malleability made him an enigma.
I interacted with him once. May His Soul Rest in Peace. To Ida Odinga, her spirit kept Raila going on. She never let the state biases and brutality disorient her. I met Ida in 2013 in Woodrow Wilson Centre in Washington, DC. @RailaOdinga@IdaOdinga

It is either you're a value based leader or the contrary. If you're a value based leader, you're safe. If not, two things will happen, one , organic withdrawal from you , and two, deep hatred towards you and your ilks. Learn or Perish.
A fed up nation is when the populace can no longer sympathise with political leaders' predicaments. This is always the beginning of a revolution and a self-consciousness moment. For so long, Kenyans have been seeing political leaders as demi gods, but days are gone now.
