We know what we wear and we know what it means. Our smock is a vital cultural element, woven not just with strands but history, pride, and craftsmanship.
Every Ghanaian should be proud wearing their Fugu.
Naser Mahama Toure was avery respectful, calm, and soft-spoken MP who would make his point forcefully but quick to accept counter opinion. The Chairman of Greater Accra Caucus of the NDC in Parliament. May the Almighty grant you a resting place and forgive you your sins. RIP
I want to appreciate @buzstopboys Boys for their patriotic service to the nation and also stopping by my constituency to give it a good clean.
I hear your appeal for sustained clean up exercise in Ashaiman and I will reach out and see how best we can work that out.
Kudos lads!
Today, I engaged with my constituents in Ashaiman to share updates on completed projects and upcoming initiatives. The meeting brought together key stakeholders and community groups, providing an opportunity to address their concerns on our constituency’s development.
Reshaping works have commenced on the Ashaiman Lebanon Road (Newtown Junction), as we await the contractor’s full mobilization to the site. This forms part of my commitment to improving road infrastructure across Ashaiman and ensuring our communities have better and safer roads.
Happy Birthday to arguably the Greatest African of All Time, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Indeed “Nkrumah never dies” is more than a phrase. Today we reflect on his personality, leadership, and charisma. May the light he sought for this country spur us onto the Ghana we want
#kwameNkrumah
The Big Push promises major infrastructure improvements, with $10 billion earmarked for nationwide projects. Within 24 months, the Akosombo road through Ashaiman will ease traffic and boost trade. I will ensure township roads are asphalted, building on the ongoing dual carriage
Yesterday's Democracy Cup was an electric atmosphere! We showed the judiciary that we don't only pass laws, but we pass ball too.
Special gratitude to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama and the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin, for gracing the occasion.
The law is the law! President Mahama has exercised his constitutional obligation under Article 146 of the 1992 constitution and has therefore duly acted upon the recommendations of the Justice Pwamang Committee report. Nothing more, nothing less!
Saturday, I had the honour of supporting a rising boxing champion from Ashaiman, Sampson Segbedzi as he competed in the National Welterweight Championships at the Bukom Boxing Arena. Boxing has brought Ghana immense glory in the past, and it is time we revive that spirit again.
Today is truly a dark day. Losing individuals like Dr. Omane Boamah and Hon. Murtala Mohammed, is an immeasurable loss.
Hon. Mutarla Mohammed was my bosom friend with whom I shared seats in the 8th Parliament.
Our deepest condolences go out to the families,
Huge congratulations to the Black Queens for finishing in 3rd place. What an exceptional WAFCON story it has been! Kudos to the team and the coach. They deserve equal attention given the Black Stars. I call on Government and private sector needs to invest in women's sports.
Kudos to the Black Queens despite the results. I belive reaching the Semi-final alone is enough to challenge the support and love we give Women’s sports. There is so much we can achieve on the feminine side of football. We remain proud of you. Go get the bronze medal !
Big congratulations goes out to the Black Queens for beating a good side like Algeria to advance to the Semi- Finals of the WAFCON. The journey didn't take off as we expected but I knew the team was capable and they have proved it. Indeed what men can do, Women can do it better!
Today I urge every well meaning Ghanaian in the Ablekuma North Constituency to step out and vote for Ewurabena Aubynn.
The Constituency cannot be left out of the RESET Agenda which is visibly seen across the country. Ewurabena is the right person for the job!
I have seen disturbing videos and images of the GHOne reporter who was allegedly assaulted by the police. While the details leading to the incident are not yet clear, I strongly condemn the assault on the journalist.
We will not countenance any form of media suppression.
I am deeply saddened by the untimely passing of our colleague and brother, Hon. Ernest Yaw Kumi, Member of Parliament for Akwatia.
His death is not only a personal loss to his family and constituents but also a great loss to the entire Parliament of Ghana.
RIP 🙏
Today, I officially graduate with a PhD in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at KNUST.
It’s been a journey of faith, focus, and fortitude. Grateful for the grace, the growth, and everyone who stood by me.
Akpe!
