@mrslitandlang@WholeSchoolSEND@sencochat Perhaps, as the paper has dropped today, you might be asked how you envisage enacting those (proposed) changes. Experience as a HOD will help. Try to think strategic rather than operational - so rather than fighting the fires (which we do anyway) what will be the fire breaks?
@chattyman I met the lovely @clarebalding today and showed her the video of an SEN student for which she recorded an amazing response. I’d love to share with you too.

@TsuiAllen@MuseumCommodore@80s_channel And you couldn’t save it on the old MSX either. So, hours of diligent, accurate typing, 5 minutes playing, turned it off. Lost it all. 🤪
@Headteacherchat Could it be a trick question? Checking you are aware of the law that sits around PC/EA? Especially since in a HT role you will be asking/dealing. The response is not Y/N but to call it out. Not afraid to challenge. Personally think it’s wrong, but 👿 advocate.
Lots of talk this week about EHCPs being “restricted” to only the most severe cases. That isn’t law, nor is it the gov White Paper.
It’s the Children’s Commissioner’s independent plan. Current SEND law hasn’t changed.
My explainer: https://t.co/Bjt7kG0HSg :
@Headteacherchat Secondary gets 35 minutes. Local primary 45 minutes (except EY/KS1 who have 60).
Visited many schools where they kept the split lunch that 2020 gave them and it’s only 30-35 minutes.
