We operate 128 refineries, down from 132 in 2024, following closures on the West Coast (like Phillips 66 in Los Angeles and Valero in San Francisco). Now take out Russias refineries. We are at capacity because of our oil production

Texas does the opposite. Low taxes, welcome the refineries, pump its own crude.

Nearly three bucks a gallon, and every penny of that spread is a choice Sacramento made!

They went up due to the war, but NOW, there are other factors, like refinery bottlenecks. Europe gets its gas from Russia...
