Today, I officially completed my final exams in International Relations and Diplomacy. This milestone is more than the end of an academic journey it represents a year of dedication, resilience, and commitment to understanding the complex dynamics that shape our world.
Studying International Relations and Diplomacy has allowed me to engage deeply with issues of governance, peace, security, and global cooperation. It has also been a platform to practice leadership, participate in high-level simulations and conferences, and refine my ability to think critically and act with purpose.
I am deeply grateful to God, my family, lecturers, colleagues, and mentors who have been part of this journey. Their guidance, encouragement, and belief in me kept me grounded and motivated.
As I transition into the next chapter, I am eager to apply the knowledge, skills, and experiences I’ve gained to contribute to shaping policies, strengthening institutions, and fostering collaboration both locally and globally.
This is the beginning of a new season, and I look forward to the opportunities and responsibilities it will bring.

Today we honour Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, a visionary whose dream of freedom, unity and self-determination still echoes through our nation. His legacy reminds us that true independence is not only the casting off of chains but the bold pursuit of excellence. Happy founder’s day..✊🏿
His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie who was appointed to the Supreme Court by Former President J.A Kuffour in 2008, has been nominated as Chief Justice by President Mahama.
This reaffirms NDC’s commitment to strengthening democracy and safeguarding the judiciary of Ghana.
You see this man right here, he is a blessing to Ghana. His knowledge, understanding and many other soft skills are what make a great leader.
To quote someone “Then again, this is Ghana’s John Mahama.”
Have a good Sunday ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Asiedu Nketiah: Could He Be Mahama’s Successor in 2028?
By Kayy . @BerryPulseM_Inc
With President John Dramani Mahama back in power following the 2024 elections, attention within Ghana’s political landscape is slowly turning to the future of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after his tenure. As Mahama is constitutionally limited to two terms, the 2028 elections are expected to usher in a new flagbearer for the NDC. Among the names gaining traction in political circles is Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the party’s seasoned National Chairman.
Asiedu Nketiah, widely known as “General Mosquito,” has been at the heart of NDC politics for decades. Having served as a Member of Parliament, Deputy Minister, long-time General Secretary, and now Chairman, his political résumé is unmatched. Many credit him with playing a decisive role in reorganizing the NDC machinery, strengthening its grassroots base, and shaping the strategy that delivered Mahama’s return to the presidency in 2024.
Observers argue that Asiedu Nketiah’s current position gives him a unique advantage in any succession race. As Chairman, he not only oversees party structures but also commands significant influence over internal decision-making. His deep experience, sharp political instincts, and ability to galvanize grassroots support make him a natural contender when the NDC begins the process of selecting its next flagbearer.
“General Mosquito has been instrumental in the NDC’s resurgence,” one political analyst noted. “It would not be surprising if party faithful look to him as the man to lead after Mahama.”
Yet, the road to 2028 may not be smooth. At 72 years old by the next election cycle, questions about age and generational transition will inevitably arise. The NDC also boasts a pool of younger, ambitious politicians ,from sitting Members of Parliament to former ministers who may see themselves as better positioned to represent the party’s future.
Regional dynamics could also play a role, as the NDC may weigh the importance of balancing its leadership ticket across Ghana’s diverse constituencies.
What is certain is that the 2028 election will mark a defining moment for the NDC. Having secured Mahama’s comeback, the party now faces the challenge of presenting a strong successor who can consolidate gains, maintain unity, and compete effectively against the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In this unfolding debate, Asiedu Nketiah’s name will likely remain central. His long service, strategic acumen, and loyal following ensure that he cannot be left out of any conversation about the NDC’s future beyond Mahama.
While it is too early to predict who will ultimately emerge as the NDC’s 2028 flagbearer, speculation around Johnson Asiedu Nketiah highlights the stakes of Ghana’s next political transition. Whether he becomes the chosen successor or not, one thing is clear: General Mosquito will remain a pivotal figure in shaping the NDC’s direction in the years ahead.
