@eredean @BeefCheeser not to be that guy but Omega doesn't send you to alternative timelines. Omega has observed the other FFs via it's various appearances throughout the series and recreates them digitally in it's interdimensional rift tournament arc. They're basically glorified training dummies.

@RyukiHeart @StellaNoxEclair The funny thing about you mentioning this is that Dissidia was meant to be a Kingdom Hearts fighting game and the maps are directly inspired by each game's locations so we do kinda have an idea of "If Kingdom Hearts never happened" for real

Magitek suits were also an idea in FFXV, maybe even vXIII? assuming XV lifted the idea from the transition which would make it an idea Nomura had thought to implement at some point, if that is the case.

Ok so idk why people are theorizing/assuming the "astronauts" are from the future? This is supposed to be ML so it's before Sora and stuff happening but after all the x stuff happening.
Obviously time travel is a thing but I don't think that's the case here. imo---

Quadratum has been shown to be "irl" tokyo. I imagine the case is that this is basically magitek, taken in a more realistic form cause of the "irl" setting. We see a bunch of scientist dudes in Scala so I just assumed it was more of a "we're developing tech alongside magic"

@XueEdits @iAyeCaptainKai Scala text has always been inconsistent with their japanese-english but it makes sense. Brain's name in japanese is written as ブレイン, which would be bu-re-i-n. The "u"s tend to be "silent" so it comes off as brein.
