Ethiopia’s Prosperity Party is pushing synchronized “academic” analyses that expose deep contradictions: they label Eritrea a collapsing, militarized state suffering from “Nakfa syndrome,” yet openly admit the PFDJ’s unbreakable institutional control renders their sponsored opposition groups powerless. This isn’t analysis — it’s psychological operations and a blueprint for subversion, dressed up as strategy.

At its core, this “Grand Strategy on Eritrea” is fueled by irredentist fantasies of grabbing sovereign Eritrean coastline “by force if necessary.” It flouts international law, distorts history, and weaponizes proxies — all while Eritrea upholds regional stability through respect for borders and sovereignty. Addis Ababa’s revisionism isn’t just dangerous; it’s a direct threat to Horn of Africa peace.
