@RyanMacDonald86@SanderGoat85@Ken_Campbell27@alexadamsBTP_ What case? The "look at me, i am a good goal scorer and clutch player" case? Too bad he vanished harder the John Traveres in the playoffs. Plus, the hart trophy is "Most valuable player to HIS TEAM". Guess Nick, Juraj, Ivan, Noah, Lane, and Jakob vanished.
@compliantvc 80%? Go take a hike. I do believe billionairs need to be taxed smarter or have certain restictions to how they use their money, but this 80%?!? that is rediculous. I will cut your salary down by 80% and give it to a forgien government. You like that?
@jackrichrdson I think there is, but not in the traditional way. Points and goal wise he may get a little better. In terms of being a rat though, i see almost Marchand levels if he developes it properly. This is something Ottawa could really use. A dude who can bend the rules a bit.
@EverydaySens Not sure your thoughts. Alot of people are suggesting trading Spence. What about trading Chabot? Spence is a pick mover already and Kleven is a wreckingball. They make more sense as the second pair. That said, if you can keep all of them for cheap. Maybe run it back?
@WhiskeyNick95 Totally agree. Would love Kleven and Spence to be our second pairing in the future. Ones a Cement truck with a canon and the other is a slippery devil with quick IQ.
@LalimesMartian Personally, I think all this talk of needing a T4D is rediculous. If Spence an Kleven can be signed long term. Have them as the stable 2nd D pairing. One will run into you like a frieght train and shoot bullets. The other will gey the puvk to any player with ease.
@SensBuzz I want to agree with you. But i also feel like he is not using 100% of his capability. I think of he was, we would have the equvilent of Leon. (Funny enough Stuztle would be our nock-off McDavid)
@Matty_In_Perth Cozens to 2RW, Pinto to 2C, Ridley to 3C (where he belongs). Actually really like this. Only issue is brady and pinto where abysmal when paired together last year. So unless you put him back with Stu and aquire a 2LW. That might work. (Or use Kalyiev to be funny)
@ObasizizDubber @lordhaytham_ @nhltraderumours I would still say he would accept rather quickly. Getting a second drake batherson for an unproven defenseman on an already fairly good d-core is a good move in my opinion. Knies contract is also an easy one to bail out of if it goes bad. Still McTavish is cheaper.
@nhltraderumours This is a no brainer for Ottawa. 7.75mil for 5 more seasons, plus zero clauses. Unless if gis number downtrend into his prime for some reason, this is an absolute steal.
@red__onions Damn.... ok. Perhaps i am just out of touch with the GM world. In my opinion, i would not want to give up the equivilent of three first rounders for that. Isn't that like pinto (i say 1.5 firsts), zutterland and a first for him?
Either way, these guys no much better then me.
@alexadamsBTP_@Sportsnet There were plebty of amazing and encouraging things that happened this season. That being said, Spence was underutalized for the first 20 games. Nick Jenson was top 4 but, there was no Kayliev or Halliday during the playoff push. Should i be worried about managements decisions?
@TheLad271976@BringBackLee Id like to really highlight the streaky aspect. He is so bad for that. If he was consistent, i wouldn't mind giving him 10mil.
