In honour of Remembrance Day we want to take a moment to remember Ottawa legend, "One-eyed" Frank McGee, a hero on the ice and on the battlefield. Despite losing vision in his left eye at 17, McGee became a Stanley Cup champion for the Ottawa Silver Seven, thanks to his Stanley Cup record 14 goals in one game. McGee then brought his no quit attitude to the battlefield and unfortunately paid the ultimate price in the Battle of the Somme in World War I. https://t.co/TyNy6tOmeE

When Ottawa and Toronto played during the 1921 playoffs, tickets were sold to identified Sens fans before they were available to the general public. Ottawa won that series and went on to win the Stanley Cup.
