Instead of telling kids not to play video games, adults should play too.

Compared to kids who don’t play, those who play 3 hrs/day have better working memory & impulse control. Experiments show cognitive benefits for adults too.

Video games are a form of exercise for the brain.

@wrpvincent I really like drfrost maths white boards. Even if your not doing math it is good to be able to share something on the whiteboard and see what each student is writing and then interact with individual white boards etc

@wrpvincent Yeah I do, especially if you have a class where the students are prone to distract each other.

@DanielPearcy I think it would be for the majority, but maybe just at different levels. Even the students that struggle the most will (hopefully at some point) be able to do something they thought they never could.

@wrpvincent Was the start of exam time. So I didn't even bring it up at first. Then when my coordinator heard about it, she insisted I go back, the kids would survive. I needed to be there for my dad and say goodbye.
