On International Women's Day we recognise the many amazing women & girls in our club. From the start, 2 of the 3 original members were women/girls as Sensei Frank set up the club to help his 2 daughters get to black belt. They are now both 2nd Dan and help out with teaching too.
Great sessions with guest instructor Sensei (Big) Mike. We worked on generating power using an analogy of how to play a musical instrument. We also used the block preparation hand as the block itself and the "blocking" hand as a strike πͺπ₯βΊοΈ #london#shotokan#senshikarate
