Memorial Day always reminds me of my G-Mother. She called it “Decoration Day”. She always put her flag out. It had 48 stars. She didn’t drive so my mom would take her and others to “decorate” graves. My Grandfather was buried in Zachery Taylor National Cemetery. That was stop1.
