Our ongoing work for Policy-Based Federated Learning finally sees the light. In contrast to FL systems we assume that different user groups have diverse privacy requirements that can be enforced by policies. w/@ebagdasa@e_birrell@realhamed@deborahestrin https://t.co/FKuT0MkXVE
Happy to see MotionSense dataset has got > 100 stars in GitHub & Kaggle, and used in > 35 research papers.
Thanks to people who kindly took my phone, ran away, and then gave it back to me :)

New version of SensingKit-iOS v0.5.1 is now available with support for the Heading sensor, and the new iOS 12/XCode 10. It also addresses an issue with incorrect timestamps for some sensor data. Updated CrowdSense for iOS is also submitted for approval in the AppStore.

Many thanks to the team of @cbitshealth for featuring our framework @SensingKit in their wikipedia article “Mobile Phone Based Sensing Software”. https://t.co/7a3eRABnCm
Our team has created a @Wikipedia page on "Mobile Phone Based Sensing Software"! We highlight the uses of Mobile Phone Based Sensing for psychological interventions and other #digitalhealth research. Check it out! https://t.co/jJiZ4SpiPb
2 of our audience members took an unwittingly synchronised stroll. Thanks to @minoskt, who helped us measure their movements and understand the subtle communication of mirroring #xmaslectures
Watch how the two children unconsciously synchronise their steps after a few seconds, measured by the phone’s accelerometer sensor. @realhamed@Laurissa@richardclegg#xmaslectures@Ri_Science Read more at https://t.co/Uu0B1t38zS.
Part of our work “Walking in Sync: Two is Company, Three’s a Crowd” has been demonstrated in this year’s Royal Institution Christmas Lectures at BBC Four. @realhamed@Laurissa@richardclegg#xmaslectures Thank you @Ri_Science. https://t.co/r0MBeG52QD
