After a certain age,
your parents slowly become your children.
They ask same questions again.
They repeat stories you've heard a thousand times.
They forget little things.
Their steps become slower.
Their world becomes smaller.
And without realizing it...
The people who once carried you through life begin depending on you.
Very few people recognize this role reversal.
What feels like an inconvenience is often just time reminding us that nothing lasts forever.
Don't rush them.
Don't correct them harshly.
Don't make them feel like a burden.
One day, their voice will be silent.
The questions will stop.
The stories will never be told again.
And you'll wish for just one more interruption...
One more repeated story...
One day, you'll give anything to hear those same stories again.
One more chance to hear them call your name.
Growing old is a privilege not everyone receives.
Care for them the way they once cared for you
It’s repayment.
It's the final way we say...
Thank you for spending your life loving me .
Actually, at this age, people know exactly what they’re doing.
They know the words they choose, the actions they take, and the silence they give. They know when they’re ignoring you, when they’re lying, and when they’re being careless with your feelings. It is not a mistake. It is a choice.
People are not children anymore who don’t understand the weight of their actions. They are fully aware when they hurt you, when they disrespect you, or when they cross your boundaries. So take it personally, because it is personal. It shows you who they are, what they value, and how much you matter to them.
Stop making excuses for people who already showed you what place you hold in their life.
“One of the great lessons of adulthood is accepting that life isn't always fair. Sometimes the undeserving get the promotion. Sometimes the person you love doesn't love you back. Sometimes good people die far too young. Sometimes you'll do everything right and will still lose. None of us gets through life untouched by sorrow. Our character is measured less by what happens to us than by how we respond. Find gratitude. Find purpose. Find joy. Then become a source of those things for others. Life is too short to live any other way.”

Prayer doesn't always change your circumstances overnight, but it can change your heart, strengthen your spirit, and give you the peace to keep moving forward.
