Scams are still out there. Be very careful when clicking on links to Discord or when approving transactions on your wallet. It might be a bit slower, but take the time to check and verify before aping in.

/1 The #EthereumMerge scams are already in full swing. Earlier one of our wallets received a token called “Eth2Fork” out of the blue.

_NO_ official Ethereum tokens are associated with the merge.

This is an attempt to get people to send / swap the token. #Crypto #Security

/4 Many #EthereumMerge related scams will capitalize on social engineering tactics. Using the Merge deadline as a ticking clock to incite action and FOMO to remove logic.

Do not be fooled. Ethereum isn’t launching a new token. And a stranger is not giving you free money.
