I run a small computer store in Dimapur. On 1st June 2023 we signed up as a seller on @Meesho_Official. Thereafter we listed the products available in our store. Initially the response was very good and we received 11 orders altogether. However, to our dismay all the ordered products were returned back to us. What was more shocking was the returned products were either damaged or completely replaced (videos attached). For instance, cooler fan was replaced with T-shirt, Fingers Wireless BT headset was replaced with defective earpod, Zebronics Wireless BT headphone was replaced with a cheap wired headset.

A complaint was lodged with Meesho on 26/6/23. However their response was not satisfying so we didn’t lodge complaint for other products.

I’m shocked at how some people can be so unethical to engage in these type of fraudulent activities.

I’m not writing this to ask for refunds or replacement of our products. But to create an awareness for customers as well as small business owners like us. These type of incidents not only lowers down our morale but also reflects poorly on the conduct of e-commerce industries.

We have learnt a lesson although at a huge cost. Hope you will too.
