When we repeatedly accept candidates who are "less bad" rather than genuinely good, it signals to the political establishment that the electorate is willing to tolerate subpar leadership.
With Sitio Payong located approximately 5.1 km from their voting precinct, its residents relied on free jeepney and van services courtesy of different entities such as volunteers and politicians for 20 years.
Many more months of May passed by. Younger me became an older version of herself who thought that she got her life figured out the moment she got into her dream university, joined different organizations, and has a strong support system through thick and thin.
Although numbers do not fully encapsulate the high voter turnout of the 2025 midterm polls, COMELEC credits the welcomed outcome to the youth’s active participation.
