@SapperNacho Very true, once gave a quick spill during PT warm up before a run. Took the run a little further than the original planned turn around point. During cool down we discussed how they implemented it and what affects it had for shared understanding. No time lost from the normal day
@SapperNacho Not to mention MRT as well. Phenomenal impact if the right instructors were sent to training and made it relatable, and had command emphasis.
@SapperNacho As a DS, a DS buddy and I stood up a PLT who were the Spartans. I did hours of research to motivate troops about discipline and unity. The Spartan culture was admirable in many areas, not to mention crazy in others.
And he is a nominee for W. P. Man of the year award.

@SapperNacho The saying "Don't forget where you came from!" Is too absolute, because that environment does not exist in the present. It's about adaptability and understanding the current AO. Sure, some things are good to carry fwd but need adaptation to sync with the current culture.
Big jump for registration this year. I paid 110 in January for the last one. But check your email for 30% discount if you did it last year and register before 15 OCT. Training regiment to begin soon. My goal is 6hrs 30min Heavy Div. Was 6:57 last year @SapperNacho
@SapperNacho@psychoear I want to say this came out 2011ish. I remember our CDR was mandated to talk to every HR Soldier every Fri., Usually at CoB, and the convo never had a COA. Probably deterred Soldiers from seeking CoC assistance.
@SapperNacho Me either, but the weight is lighter at 25lbs and only 18miles and no big hill to climb. I think you just have to keep a good fast pace. I think it's OCT 10th but it starts around midnight. $10
