@Lazer Yep, exactly. Written by Max Gladstone and Amal El-Mohtar, the perspective alternates between two characters who leave each other messages, each written by one of the authors. Done really well.
@cliffski You can statically link the runtime library with /MT. Caveats may apply if you have multiple DLLs that all link the runtime library. https://t.co/TyPbIAehCb
@noodlemaz@ThreeUK We gave up on Three and moved to O2 recently after endless problems with their London signal and a series of full outages around home. We'd both been with them for years. Support tried to blame my phone but eventually relented and let me off what was left of my contract.
@Octalthorpe@MattCartoonist@Telegraph Yeah wtf is up with this? He's stayed away from cheap shots and mean spirited jokes previously, and yesterday's was particularly tiresome.
@Octalthorpe@purplecow17 Yeah Hannah absolutely does not rhyme with banana in British English, although I am now going to take this as a direct instruction to pronounce it that way.
@JonathanAStroud@NetflixUK Nearly 20 years after the whole will-they-won't-they Barti film, it must be incredible to see your work finally on screen. (Also, I think we can all agree that the proprietor of the relic men's café stole the show.)
@JonathanAStroud Finally caught up with Lockwood. Wow. The cast, the sets, the ghosts, the writing, the choreography, the music, the attention to detail! Whose house do we have to haunt until it gets renewed? Asking for a friend. @NetflixUK#LockwoodandCo
@JonathanAStroud@FictionComplete I thought the music in the trailer was cool, and "post-punk inspired soundtrack by The Flight" has certainly got my attention! Any plans to do a soundtrack album release?
HERE IT IS! Presenting the fabulous #Lockwoodandco trailer!
Lucy, Lockwood and George are opening for business on Netflix on January 27. In the meantime, get your rapiers ready and check out this preview of the thrills to come. Enjoy!

@cliffski I think dabbling in other languages is useful—learning different approaches can give you better ways of solving some problems. But I wouldn't hope to be "professional" standard in many languages—maybe a systems language, a scripting language, and JS (alas, but it's everywhere).
@cliffski Yeah, I've worked professionally in a few languages and I could never do it in C++; it's just too complicated. You can learn every feature of Go in an afternoon, say; obviously "expert" takes longer but not 25 years longer.
