Undoubtedly, President Mahama @JDMahama will go down as the best President in the history of Ghana.
Never in Ghana’s history have we witnessed this kind of leadership.
In just one year, the country appears to be making steady progress every day.
Within this period, the cedi has appreciated by no less than 40%.
Prices have gone down, and there is a general sense of relief among the people. Even the 38% of Ghanaians who made the unwise decision to vote for Dr. Bawumia have come to appreciate this reality.
Indeed, we are witnessing good governance. We’re in a better place.

THE PRE-BAR COURSE
Act 1170 aims at improving professional law training. It has two steps for achieving this aim. The first is to, upfront, abolish the monopoly of the Ghana School of Law over professional law training. The Act has achieved that.
The Act’s second step is to established a more efficient and democratised regime which allows accredited universities to offer professional law training to eligible students. The process for achieving this second aim of the Act has started.
There is, however, a need for a transition from the old regime to the new. This transition, as provided for in the Act, is in respect of (a) current LLB students who will graduate before the start of the new regime and (b) those who have already graduated and have been waiting.
This is where the Pre-Bar Course (PBC) comes in. Simply, the PBC allows the transition students to, while waiting for the start of the new regime, take some selected subjects with the universities IN ADVANCE. What are these subjects?
These are subjects which the transition students would, without the PBC, have to wait and take later when the new regime starts. These subjects, when taken, will be credited to them when they eventually enrol in the new regime to take the national bar exam.

Policies that will bring total transformation to Ghana's healthcare system are none other than #FreePrimaryHealthcare and #MahamaCare.

On this radiant Saturday morning, I lift my heart in humble supplication. May divine favour alight upon us, wisdom order our steps, and the Almighty’s tender protection encircle us all. May this weekend unfold in peace, grace, and quiet blessings. #honedemkofikpotosu
Today, I had the honour of making a statement on the Floor of Parliament to commemorate International Albinism Awareness Day 2026, observed under the theme: "Proudly in My Skin: Celebrating All Skin Tones."
Persons with albinism deserve to live with dignity, respect, equal opportunities, and freedom from discrimination. While progress has been made, many still face challenges in accessing healthcare, education, employment, and social inclusion.
In my statement, I called for practical interventions including; Subsidized or free sunscreen and skin cancer screening services, Inclusion of approved sunscreen products under NHIS; Improved access to dermatological and Opthamological services, stronger inclusive education support; Greater employment and economic empowerment opportunities; Enhanced public education to eliminate myths and stigma; and Improved mental health support and data collection.
As a nation, we must continue to champion inclusion and protect the rights of all citizens, regardless of their appearance or genetic condition.
We must be deliberate in building a Ghana where every person is valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Today, South Africa faces Mexico.
It's funny watching some Africans rush to support Mexico because they're angry at South Africans over immigration issues. Your own country isn't at the World Cup. Some have never even qualified.
Whether you like South Africa or not, they are carrying an African flag on that pitch today. Supporting Mexico over an African team says more about you than it does about South Africa.
Africa first.
