These are armed Israeli surveillance drones flying over Lebanon right now. Not only are they used for data collection, they’re also used as a form of psychological terrorism. The sound you hear in the video is from inside my apartment.

The persistent buzzing of military drones can inflict severe psychological trauma on civilians, especially children, causing anxiety, sleep deprivation, hypervigilance, and PTSD. The omnipresent sound creates a constant sense of being surveilled and an ever-present threat of sudden death. Anyone can be killed or injured in a drone strike at any time, or witness another person being murdered in front of them.

Americans, your tax dollars are paying for this terrorism.

Imagine armed drones flying over your city 24/7. Would you accept that?

Drop Site can report that the Knight Foundation worked to conceal its funding of a truly maniacal organization called “Honest Reporting” which puts targets on the backs of Palestinian journalists who are then executed by Israel.

Knight initially denied making the grant, but later owned up to it.

Knight’s claim to defend press freedom can not be taken seriously until they account for how this happened.

💢 Israel has bombed and devastated Gaza’s sewage and sanitation infrastructure, and now deliberately blocks Palestinians from the landfills, machinery and essential supplies needed to contain the resulting public health catastrophe.

One consequence is a massive rat and pest infestation, with Palestinians, including children, being bitten in their sleep.

Four in five sewage pumping stations are not functioning, with some 40,000 cubic meters of untreated sewage flowing each day. By July, 60% of Gaza’s population was living within 10 meters of sewage or human waste and more than 900,000 people were exposed to garbage accumulating in residential areas, according to UN OCHA.

Rodents or pests were reported at 81% of displacement sites surveyed in April, affecting roughly 1.45 million Palestinians.

Both of Gaza’s sanitary landfills lie beyond the Israeli-imposed “Yellow Line,” and the UN says access remains banned by Israel. Israel also requires approval and blocks entry of machinery and spare parts needed to remove garbage and rubble, while engine oils, pest-control chemicals and other essential supplies remain severely restricted.

Israel permitted 3 tonnes of rodenticide and 3,000 liters of pesticide into Gaza in May, but the UN said pest-control efforts remained limited and a full response requires sustained supplies, heavy equipment and access to the landfills Israel continues to block with Gaza’s sanitation system having completely collapsed.

🇮🇱 A group of ~15 Israeli women affiliated with the Uri Tzafon Movement, a settler group which seeks to establish Israeli settlements in Lebanon, illegally crossed into southern Lebanon on Wednesday, according to The Times of Israel.

The Israeli military said that it had located most of the group and escorted them back into Israel.

💢 NEW: “They smashed and burned everything. They beat the women and the children.”

Israeli settlers descended on his village of Tuba in Masafer Yatta at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, Ahmed Ibrahim Jundiya told Drop Site News. They “left nothing untouched.”

Settlers broke his sister-in-law’s arm and his niece’s nose. More than 40 attacked Tuba that night, local officials told Drop Site, burning at least four homes, vandalizing others and leaving five Palestinians requiring medical treatment.

Footage from Drop Site contributor Mohamed Awad shows charred living spaces and belongings, smashed solar panels, and Israeli soldiers stationed on a nearby hill overlooking the community.

“There is nothing left,” Jundiya said. “No furniture, no clothes, no blankets. Nothing.”

Ahmed Omar Jundiya said one family was still inside when settlers set their home ablaze. “What happened didn’t begin with what happened yesterday,” he told us, describing attacks that have intensified since the war on Gaza began.

Ali Issa Awad described settler harassment as “daily," saying, “they destroyed what they could destroy, burned what they could burn, and beat everyone they found.”

⭕️ The Board of Peace has issued its first construction contract in Gaza to build a rudimentary 150-person military outpost to house Moroccan troops, according to the Guardian.

The contract, which has not yet been finalized, was awarded to Arkel International, a Louisiana-based company that has previously carried out work with the U.S. government in countries such as Iraq. The base is 100 meters by 120 meters and is intended to house a contingent of Moroccan troops, who would rotate from a base in Israel, the Guardian said, citing a source familiar with the matter.

🇺🇳 Israeli forces shot and wounded a sixth-grade student inside a tented classroom in Gaza City on August 4, the UN reported.

A day earlier, Israeli forces demolished homes in Beit Lahia and destroyed the last remaining school in what had been a four-school compound.

The UN says Israeli troops had already pushed into the area the previous week, advancing between the agreed “Yellow Line” and Israel’s “Orange” coordination line (which marks areas where Israel blocks humanitarian staff from entering).

There, Israeli forces destroyed tents sheltering nearly a dozen families in the schoolyard and installed new cement blocks, further expanding the territory where Israel restricts civilian and humanitarian access and forcibly displacing the families sheltering there.

New advances were reported in Rafah overnight. Under the roadmap presented by the Board of Peace, Israel is required to withdraw to the original yellow line that encompasses 53% of Gaza before the second phase involving decommissioning and simultaneous withdrawal kicks off.
