Here is what should happen: the developers of these unwanted condos lower the price to what people are willing to pay.

The purchasers now have an affordable home, or a place they rent for cheap.

The developers lose money, sending the market signal that you shouldn't build that type of housing unless you can do it much cheaper.

The developers lose money. They might even go bankrupt. That sucks, but that is business.

Future developments are more suited to what people want and are willing to pay.

The taxpayer doesn't pay for any of it.

This is what the market is good at, and the government absolutely sucks at. Let the market do its job.

I was called a “conspiracy theorist” in Parliament so I brought the receipts!

Yesterday in the BC Legislature the government was asked why the word Provincial is being quietly scrubbed from our park signs.

They called it a conspiracy theory and said they were just modernizing with a logo.

The truth is in their own manuals. I did the digging and here is what they aren’t telling you.

The official BC Writing Guide now labels the term British Columbians as exclusionary. Their new rule is to call yourselves people living in BC.

Internal BC Parks documents describe our park system as part of a colonial history.

By their logic Provincial is a colonial word that has to go.

Go to the BC Parks website and search for the word Provincial. You will get zero results. They are erasing the word before your very eyes.

I found the Renaming Checklist they are using to swap out park names. Removing Provincial from the sign is just step one.

They are spending $16,000 per sign to remove the name of our province while hiking camping fees by up to $25 per night to pay for it.

Don’t let them gaslight you. The theory is a fact and the receipts are right here. 🚩

BC Parks removed “Provincial” from the Cypress sign.

That word told taxpayers exactly what this was:

A provincial park.

Public land.

Public access.

Provincial responsibility.

Now it’s just “Cypress Park.”

And we’re supposed to pretend this is just a cute little sign refresh?

David Eby’s NDP is already pushing DRIPA, co-management, shared stewardship, Indigenous decision-making, land-use agreements, and reconciliation frameworks over public land.

Joffre Lakes/Pipi7íyekw already showed British Columbians what “shared access” can look like when the public gets shut out.

So yes, people are going to ask questions.

Why remove “Provincial”?

Why now?

Who approved it?

How many more signs are being changed?

And how long before public parks become public in name only?

First they change the words.

The baby was missing two fingers, so the people purchasing this precious child demanded it be aborted, per their contract.
