The Sephardic Rabbinic Conference (SRC) brings together rabbis and community leaders worldwide to strengthen Sephardic leadership and Jewish community.

I am truly honored to have been part of this historic gathering.

For two days in NYC, 150 rabbis and community leaders from around the world came together at the UJA @UJAfedNY for the second Sephardic Rabbinic Conference @SephardiRabbis.

Under this year’s theme, The Art of Leadership, we explored how to cultivate an authentic and balanced Sephardic voice of leadership. A voice marked by integrity, responsiveness, creativity, responsibility, and adaptability; attentive to the changing world around us, deeply rooted in Torah, and unwavering in its commitment to the Jewish people.

The first day concluded with a beautiful evening of music at the historic Shearith Israel synagogue.

I am deeply grateful to every delegate, especially those who traveled from around the world, who made the effort to participate, to the organizations that supported and believed in this gathering, and to all the volunteers who helped make it possible.

And a special thank you to my dear friends and fellow organizers, Avi Garson @AviGarson and Ethan Marcus, for their tremendous work, vision, and dedication that brought it all together.

More than 150 rabbis, scholars, and Jewish leaders from 10+ countries have gathered in New York for the second annual Sephardic Rabbinic Conference (@SephardiRabbis ) .

Entering day 2, Ḥakhamim from around the world are coming together to discuss pressing issues facing our communities, bringing perspectives and solutions too often missed or left on the sidelines of the broader Jewish conversation.

Leaders from communities ranging from Syrian, Moroccan, Persian, Turkish, Greek, and Yemenite to Spanish & Portuguese traditions are taking part, making this a genuinely global Sephardic coalition coming together to strengthen the future of Jewish life.
