#Curio #rowleyanus is an intriguing #succulent #vine. In #cultivation it is often grown in #containers and #hanging #baskets where the stems #trail over the edge. We grow one of our Curio rowleyanus in a #beer #glass 🙂

We planted #Astrantia #major '#RubyStar' around the edge of our round bed two years ago to frame the #Papaver '#CoralReef' we'd grown from seed. Now the Astrantias complement our Papavers as they develop their #blooms. #alpineflowers #herbaceousperennials #flowersforpollinators

Our #Rhododendron was awash with #pale #violet #blooms and #bumblebees until recently. I found gazing at them very #relaxing especially when I was #stressed. It's a pity that they are dwindling!
