5 1/2 years ago today, after an MRI (incidental finding), a CT scan (inconclusive, recommended a biopsy), a biopsy (inconclusive, recommended a CT scan) and finally, a PET scan, i was diagnosed with adrenal cortical carcinoma.

i’ve had surgery, 2 rounds of radiation, both oral and iv chemotherapy, and now immunotherapy.

immunotherapy is off-label for me and only effective in about 25% of people with my diagnosis. it is currently keeping my condition stable, with no new growth.
