Had an awesome first day of preplanning at SHS! The day went by so quickly!! It was so great to see everyone and plan for the great things to come. 📚🖇️✏️
What a great morning in @SequoyahHistory! I saw @Mr_G_SHS’s world history class working on a monopoly board project based on imperialism, and Mr. Sharrock’s government class learning about a bill becoming a law in preparation for a mock congress!
Mr. Lawson’s Econ classes are working on an analysis of supply and demand shifters. This lesson is also being led by his student teacher, Mr. MacFarlane! @SequoyahHistory
Last couple days of full day PLC PD for the year! Biology and US History/World had a productive couple of days of aligning assessments, sharing strategies, and examining data.
The Constitution of the United States of America was signed by 39 delegates at the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention on #ThisDayInHistory in 1787. #ConstitutionDay https://t.co/myFvg057bq
Travis King’s classes can be summed up in two words: an experience! Today, after guided notes, his AP Psych classes created their own neurons using pipe cleaners and glow sticks, and Travis made it even better with a room transformation! #CCSDfam@SequoyahHistory
Ms. Johnson’s economics class is studying the effects of productivity on economic growth by creating their own pizza restaurant. Students were excited and engaged while learning complex theory! #CCSDfam@SequoyahHistory
Mr. Granholm’s US History class was captivated by his Salem Witch Trial experiment! Students received a card that said either “witch” or “not a witch.” Then, they had to figure out who the witches were. SURPRISE: there were none! #relateengageinstruct#CCSDfam @Mr_G_SHS
