He moved through the night as if it belonged to him, his dark aura and unreadable eyes hinting at something not entirely human. Whether he was truly a vampire or simply a man who embraced the illusion was hard to tell. Being near him felt both dangerous and irresistible.

@NuageDuSoleil ~~ Something subtle about her would likely give away that she was different. Her clothes,though beautiful,were a touch old-fashioned. Her way of speaking was too. Very formal and soft.
“I hope you will not report me to the guards. I honestly meant no harm with my curiosity.”

She curtsied again. It was obvious the man had power. And she did not want to risk giving offense.
“I am Serafina. I have come from Italy to see the beautiful palace of Versailles. And I think I have lost my chaperone.”
