You know that feeling when an old wound suddenly opens again?? That's how I felt reading rumors that someone behind KoD may have been fired🫢

Because for over a year, Xavier mains were called dramatic, toxic, bitter, and unable to move on. We were told to let it go, that it wasn't a big deal, that we were overreacting!!

But if there really were internal consequences behind the scenes (and if the same people were also involved in some of the recent messes) then maybe we weren't crazy for feeling like something genuinely went wrong.

The sad part is that none of this gives us closure. The companion is still the same. The questions are still unanswered. The legal complaints were never publicly addressed. We never even got a proper explanation or apology💔

I think that's why this makes me sad instead of happy. Because for the first time, it feels like I'm starting to accept that KoD may never get an ending. We just... have to live with the silence🥲
