I sincerely disagree with your view here and say this as a long time user of this app who has survived multiple suspensions and reinstatements.

The algorithm sucks. Almost every change the past 2 years has been a net negative and driven user sentiment in a negative direction.

I've never once seen a large scale change that users generally love. My DMs are still flooded with bots and always have been.

Most accounts, even large Right-Wing "content creators" use recycled content from Instagram and Tik Tok.

Users like Benny Johnson and DC Draino (whom I generally like and are good people) don't seem to have these same arbitrary censors on their monetization and accounts.

Why is that? They do the same thing all day, share memes that were already viral, as well as produce some original content.

Something hasn't been right the past several months. Everyone is aware of it.

My account was getting 25-50M impressions per pay period, now I struggle to get 5M. An account with 188k followers shouldn't face that.

I don't produce videos. I never have. That isn't me... I've always shared my words, and my posts are my thoughts in short paragraphs and quick bangers.

That's what X is to me. That's what I like.

I.e. ones rapid fire opinions on the breaking news.

Lately, there has been a push to produce videos and users who don't aren't boosted in the algorithm.

If that is the goal, X isn't for me lately as much as I thought. I hate to see it because I use to love this app.

Monetization and the "make a living on X" was enticing to me and I've put so many hours into this app, and lately the return has not been worth it.

Antunes is correct and if it penalizes me to agree with him, so be it.
