The first #duty of any govt is to protect its citizens. The accepted extension of this has always been the #police and the #ArmedForces. Catastrophic cuts to both must lead to charges that this govt has neglected in its primary function!

How is the #PM able reconcile her claim at @Conservatives conference that #austerity in govt spending is over and the new shrinking of #police budgets? That's right, she can't!

These further reductions put the public and most vulnerable at greater risk!
